Text Box: WALKING The ATS tours involve a bit of walking in situations such as National Parks/Monuments, stairs at an attractions, moderate hills, free time in a town environment or multiple entrances more than 200 feet from where the motorcoach loading zone is. While most locations are ADA accessible, we ask that folks requiring wheelchairs, walkers or additional assistance contact us prior to signing up for a tour to determine if that particular tour is in your best interest. Your safety and well being is always our concern. The ATS tours are NOT hiking, biking or vigorous walking expeditions.

Active Traveler Series (ATS)

If you are a “Seasoned Adult” over the age of 55 an urge to travel, this is the spot for you.  Our ATS folks typically go on 2 extended day trips and/or 10 day trips or more a year, enjoy experiencing history and culture first hand through a series of interactive attractions, historical and informational commentary and a bit of walking in a fast paced but leisurely environment.

MOTORCOACH

Our tours typically include deluxe motorcoach transportation.  We utilize only the best service available in the areas we travel to.  Keep in mind, transportation may be on a deluxe 56 passenger motorcoach or in a 48, 32, 21 or 16 passenger vehicle.  All vehicles have deluxe motorcoach style seating and do NOT involve climbing over a seat.  Exceptions may be a hotel shuttle from the airport to hotel accommodations.

EUROPE

Any and all tours beyond the U.S. border are included as part of the ATS tours.  This includes but is not limited to Canada and Europe.  Places such as these involve a lot of walking in order to see the sights.  Please be prepared to walk up to 2 miles in the course of one day.  Don’t worry...we’ll give you recuperation time at the hotel too!

PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED!

MEALS

Most meals are included on each of our tours and are anything from a breakfast at the hotel to a gourmet sit down lunch or dinner.  Box lunches are only used when an alternative is not reasonable or practical to the tour.  This effects less than 1% of our tours.
Text Box: ADMISSIONS If it is an attraction on the tour, not listed as an optional, then your admission is paid! The last thing we want is for you to pay to come on tour then pay to take a tour. Text Box: GRATUITY While gratuities are customary in the service industry, the following is our policy: Gratuities at restaurants, hotels or attractions are always included. Gratuity for the driver or tour director is typically not included as we want gratuities to be representative of service not expected. Tipping guidelines are available and provided in your welcome packets.
